M. Brian McKaig
M. Brian McKaig was born in 1957 in the city of London, Ontario, Canada. He studied marketing, advertising, animation, drawing, painting and film at Sheridan College in Oakville.
Brian started to work professionally as an animator on the Warner Bros. show "Tiny Toons Adventures" as well as the Hanna Barbera series "Don Coyote and Sancho Panda" and "Potsworth & Co." for an animation studio in Toronto. He then relocated to Ottawa and began animating on numerous popular shows including "The Raccoons", "The RenHoëk and Stimpy Show", "For Better Or For Worse", "Tooth Fairy Where Are You", "The Old Woman Who Raised A Bear As Her Son" and "Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates".
In 1996 Brian was Overseas Unit Director in South Korea for Nelvana Ltd. on the "Little Bear" series, then Overseas Supervisor for Disney TV Animation on the series "Hercules", "101 Dalamatians" and "Pepper Ann" as well as a direct to video show called "Winnie The Pooh Sing-Along". Then it was off to China. Once again with Nelvana Ltd., Brian was Animation Supervisor on "Resue Heroes" in Shanghai and "George Shrinks" in Shenzhen.
After going back to school and studying Radio Broadcasting at Loyalist College in Ontario, Brian switched gears in 2006 and headed to Alberta where he became the Afternoon Drive Guy and Webmaster for a popular country radio station. Since then he has been developing movie and TV series concepts including "Ask Smarty McBrain and the How2Team", "Agochara", "My Talent Town" and "Duncan Brody, Kid P.I.".
